The 2010 list consists of vehicles that deliver higher fuel economy and lower emissions without compromising on performance. Audi engines have been on the Ward's "10 Best Engines list for six consecutive years and a total of eight times in the past decade. The editors of Ward's Automotive Group chose the top 10 from among 34 vehicles belonging to 13 different auto makers. They scored each engine based on horsepower, torque, refinement, technical relevance and comparative data.
