Overview

The 2010 A4 is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sedan, or luxury wagon, available in Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige variants with eight trims. Available in convertible (Cabriolet), sedan and wagon body styles, the A4 is a four-door compact premium vehicle. The sedan and wagon versions can accommodate five passengers, while the convertible can seat up to four. The Audi A4 offers great driving dynamics, generous space in its luxurious interior, and a plethora of electronic equipment. Mainly a carryover from the redesigned 2009 model, the 2010 Audi A4 is faster, bigger and fuel efficient.

Power and performance

The 2.0T Sedan FrontTrak Multitronic is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 211-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 23-mpg in the city and 30-mpg on the highway. A variable speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard. The 2.0T Avant quattro Tiptronic is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 211-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 21 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.

Body and styling

The 2010 Audi A4's key features include 17-inch seven-spoke wheels, integrated deck-lid spoiler, LED tail lights, adaptive cruise control, a new park distance control system, a blind-spot warning system, and a radar-based adaptive cruise control. A sunroof; leather upholstery; air-conditioning; ambient lighting; split-folding rear seat; power front seats; fog lamps; navigation systems; and a 10-speaker audio system with an in-dash CD player, satellite radio, and an auxiliary audio jack are standard features. The cargo capacity of the A4 sedan is 16.9 cubic feet.

Safety Features

The A4 utilizes a number of active and passive safety systems to help avoid emergency situations. The 2009 Audi A4 was awarded the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Top Safety Pick award. Driver and passenger airbags, LATCH, ESP, ABS with EBD, and tire pressure monitoring system are standard.
